DESCRIPTION:To Register Click Here\nIN OUR CONTINUED EFFORT TO SAVE OUR WETLANDS, WE WILL HOST A VALUE OF WETLANDS SCIENCE PANEL DISCUSSION ON SEPTEMBER 26.  PLEASE RSVP AND HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!\nCounty Commissioners in charge of protecting remaining wetlands and wetland and watercourse buffers claim that there is insufficient science to support the language currently in the Comprehensive Plan.  So we asked researchers who study this issue to tell us fact from fiction.  We will record their presentations and use the expert opinion in our public comments to the BOCC.\nAnticipating just how much information will be culled from these scientific presentations, we are asking for your help.  Sign up to volunteer!  Volunteers will be given scientific information presented by our panelists to read into the record at the October 5 Board of County Commission meeting.  Let’s flood them with facts!\n \n
