
LWVMC Annual Meeting and Luncheon – Saving Natural Places
In honor of Earth Day, we are very pleased to have as our guest speaker Debi Osborne, Director of Land Protection, Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast
The Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast protects land and water in Southwest Florida. By saving land forever, wild places for kids and grown-ups, for wildlife and waterways are preserved. Debi’s 10 years of experience at the Conservation Foundation and previous years of experience in land acquisition at Audubon and the Land Trust as a key decision maker in selecting properties to preserve, those places that give us clean water to drink, protect habitat for plants and animals and are beautiful natural places to enjoy.
We encourage you to bring friends and relatives for an interesting and enjoyable event.
Our schedule for the day is: 11:00 am–LWVMC business meeting; 11:45–luncheon; 12:15 pm–speaker presentation and discussion. LWV members, please arrive by 10:45 am; nonmembers, by 11:30 am.
Enjoy an excellent lunch with your choice of entrées (Atlantic Salmon Salad, Chicken Parmesan or Garden Quiche with tomato, spinach, caramelized onion), side dishes, beverage AND a special Earth Day dessert (Lemon Leche Cake- lemon cake soaked in lemon sauce topped with infused whipped cream and fresh berries and berry coulis).
