What matters to you? Becoming a part of your local League can be a fulfilling way to have real impact in your community. The League of Women Voters of Manatee County is currently supporting the formation of collegiate chapters in our community.
The League of Women Voters is a 100% non-partisan, grassroots organization, which means we can focus on the issues that matter the most in our community, not partisan politics. We do not endorse or oppose candidates for any office. We advocate on select policy issues, after study and consideration. Chapters are self-directed, which means each chapter can focus on the issues that matter the most to them, through civic education and community action. Not every member will agree with every position the League takes, but all League members work together to support informed voting and protecting democracy.
