Please consider attending Lobby Days. As a member, your registration is covered and hotel room is reimbursed at 50% per person (see below).
Lobby Days marks a unique opportunity to humanize our legislative priorities with our state lawmakers. The League’s reach has continued to grow over the past year and we’re excited to show that off in the halls our state capitol.
Haven’t been to one of our Lobby Days before? Don’t fret! We provide attendees with onsite training to be an effective advocate.
- Day 1 is filled with a comprehensive trainings that include updates on the current climate of the Florida legislature, lobbying techniques and in-depth information regarding our 2023 legislative priorities. The day is capped off with an evening awards reception and dinner.
- Day 2 is where the work really happens! Our members descend upon the halls of the state capitol to meet with legislators regarding our legislative priorities, sit in on committee meetings and watch each chamber with an eagle-eye as they conduct business and pass legislation.
Our hotel block at the Four Points by Sheraton Tallahassee (Downtown) may fill up fast. We are encouraging everyone to register early and save!
