Since 1920, the League of Women Voters has worked to empower voters and protect the strength of our democracy. At a time when the principles of our Constitution and the rule of law face serious challenges, it is essential that we raise our voices together. This rally is a reminder to our elected officials that they must uphold their constitutional responsibilities with integrity and remain accountable to the people they serve.

Please join us for our joint Rally with the Sarasota County League. If you so choose, wear your League t-shirt, if you have one, or a white top. Adding something patriotic, like a stars and stripes scarf or hat, is welcome!

Rally signs will be provided. If you have or wish to make your own non-partisan sign, this document about the principals on which the League was founded may be helpful.

Let’s show what democracy looks like in action. When we stand together, members, families, neighbors, and friends, we remind our community that civic engagement is powerful, visible, and alive.

Invite someone who’s never attended before. Share the event widely. Encourage your networks to join you. Every person who shows up helps amplify the League’s century‑long commitment to protecting voters’ rights, and upholding the principles that keep our democracy strong.
