Social Equity through Education
The League of Women Voters of Manatee County’s Education Issues Action Team will host guest speaker Zander Moricz, the founder and Executive Director of the SEE (Social Equity through Education) Alliance. Zander Moricz will describe how he and the SEE organizers are bringing young people from ages 12 to 94 into action for democracy through data-driven school board organizing and bold community action.
SEE Alliance is a Sarasota, FL based, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Everything SEE does right now is part of one nationwide, long-term movement – MIDTERMS ON OUR TERMS – a youth-led movement to take back school boards and shape the 2026 elections on our terms.
