Gun Safety and Domestic Violence

Guns and Domestic Violence are a Deadly Combination!  According to the Violence Policy Center‘s 2022 annual study, the presence of a firearm can turn domestic violence into domestic homicide. When men murder women, the most common weapon used is a gun. Nearly 90 percent of women murdered by men are killed by someone they know.

This panel discussion features Carol Rescigno from  Brady, a gun violence prevention group,  Ginger McCallum from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Rhonda Calahan from Queens Against Domestic Violence and local law enforcement.
