The League of Women Voters of Manatee County will present information you need for voting in the 2022 General Election. 

N. Alice Newlon, President of LWV of Manatee County will present:

  • The Constitutional Amendments on the ballot, their background and what happens if you vote yes or no.
  • The Manatee County Referendum. 
  • The citizen’s initiatives. A look at the history and requirements of a Florida citizen initiative for a constitutional amendments and what it takes to get one on the ballot.

Carolyn Sheets, Chair of the LWV of Manatee County Voting Action Team will present:

  • Changes in the voting law that effect the voter
     
  • Common mistakes that invalidate your vote
