LWVMC Annual Meeting and Luncheon – Achieving Policy Impact
We are very pleased to have as our guest speaker Sadaf Knight, Chief Executive Officer of the Florida Policy Institute.
Florida Policy Institute (FPI) has had an impressive 10 Years of Policy Impact. FPI is an independent, non-partisan, and non-profit organization dedicated to advancing policies and budgets that improve the economic mobility and quality of life for all Floridians. They do this through research, strategic outreach, coalition building, and policy advocacy. Their vision is that of a state where every Floridian has an equal opportunity to thrive; a state where everyone has equitable access to health care, education, housing and jobs with no barriers based on race or ethnicity.
Knight has been leading the organization’s efforts to achieve broadly shared prosperity for all Floridians since 2018. She has more than 15 years of experience in public policy research, advocacy, and nonprofit management. Her areas of expertise include revenue, economic development, and community development policy.
