Natural Resources Action Team Meeting

Kara Napolitano, Education Director for Circular Services will provide a special presentation: Recycling – The truth about how it works in Manatee County
Please join us! Circular Services is the MRF (Materials Recovery Facility) used by Manatee County. The company is the largest and most sophisticated residential recycling plant in North America, including processing most of NYC’s curbside recyclables. Kara will provide a digital tour and explain how our facility in Sarasota works and options for individuals to make their own practices more effective. There will be time for Q & A too.
Manatee County’s environment is the cornerstone of our health, economy and enjoyment of living in Manatee County. Team members educate themselves and work to protect and improve our natural resources such as water, wetlands, mangroves and seagrasses. We also promote land preservation for wildlife and recreation, and expansion of clean energy.
