2025 Annual Meeting Member Information
Members, Please review the below 2025 materials. Any questions, adjustments or proposed changes, please email info@lwvmanatee.org. You will be voting to approve all the below materials Bolded Proposed Items at the annual meeting.
The Proposed Bylaws were updated primarily to reflect the changes LWVUS implemented in February 2025 regarding the payment of dues. There are no changes to the Policies. There are changes to the Proposed Local Program including expanding Voter Services, updating Government and Social Services, adding Reproductive Rights, and deleting Healthcare since that Action Team is no longer active.
The budget was prepared based on revenue assumptions associated with the new LWVUS dues structure. While we have no way to accurately predict how this new dues structure will change our income, we made assumptions based on two months of actual income under the new structure and ten months of income under the previous structure. Please note our league is on a fiscal year ending March 31st.
